Communion Sundays

are when we as a community take time to learn about God sending his Son Jesus to Earth for the forgiveness of our sins. We celebrate communion together as community.

T: thank Jesus

A: admit sins
C: consider others

the connection is the JrHi large group program on Sunday mornings at Woodridge.  We meet during the 9am service in the Upper Great Room.  At the connection we experience God together in community. 

We do this in 3 different ways: Communion Sundays, Psalms Sundays and RUSH Sundays. 

Psalms Sundays

This year we will be diving into the book of Psalms (the largest book of the Bible, filled with tons of stuff about who God is and how we can interact with God). 

Each Psalms Sunday we are going to look at a particular Psalm, figure out what we learn about who God is and then how we can and should respond to God in light of God’s character.

RUSH Sundays

are when we expose students to an upcoming RUSH series.  RUSH is our Wednesday night program that combines small group interaction, high energy worship, relevant teaching and fun games. 

On RUSH Sundays we invite students to help prepare for our next RUSH series so they are excited about what is going on and invested in it!
